Hi I’m Laura – The Wexford Housewife!  I am a Stay at Home Mom/Housewife, a Senior Stylist at Stitch Fix, a member of Style Collective, coffee addict & wine lover.  I have a background in fashion & styling and though most days you’ll find me in leggings & a V-neck tee I love trying new trends and rocking high heels.

I started The Wexford Housewife 2 1/2 years ago when I found myself at a crossroads.  I was fairly new to the Stay at Home Mom gig and slowly loosing my mind & my identity.  Not to say that motherhood isn’t beautiful, but everything changes so quickly and even though you prepare for 9 months it still isn’t long enough.  I went from managing a high-end retail store, having goals & expectations and being accountable for a team to watching court TV while unsuccessfully breastfeeding, missing out on happy hour & bickering with my husband.  I felt lost & alone.  My husband, though supportive & loving didn’t understand what I was going through.  I joined a Mom’s Group but I was still missing something…and that’s how The Wexford Housewife came to life.

Blogging gave me something to call my own.  As many of you can probably relate, it gave me a creative outlet to express myself and put my years of styling & fashion knowledge to good use.  It’s not super high-tech or professional, I’m not being paid to blog or share my ideas but I love it!  And, I hope that you love it too.
