Valentine’s Day OOTD

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with your honey or Galentine’s Day with your besties, I’ve gathered some of my favorite looks that are sure to keep you looking & feeling your best.

You can never go wrong with a little black dress! This romantic-inspired style is from The Loft is under $100 and is perfect for dinner & drinks. I paired it with a statement heel & fringe earrings but you can easily rock it with a bold red pump or heeled ankle bootie. Click on the link below for purchasing details 🙂

When I think of Valentine’s day I think of red & pink hues which makes this flutter sleeve dress perfect for a night out on Feb. 14th. I purchased this dress from Versona for under $50 but I’ve also linked some similar styles below.

Black on black is always in style & my go-to for a girls night out. Not only are the vertical pinstripes on these pants super slimming but they elongate this 5 ft nothing frame. Pants like these can easily be paired with a bodysuit or a crop top like I did here. Though I wasn’t able to link these exact items I’ve included similar styles; just follow the link!

Falling in love with fall fashion

This is my favorite time of year to get dressed.  The textured fabrications, ankle booties, and cozy layering pieces…you just can’t go wrong.  Over the weekend I went to brunch with some of my Style Collective sisters at a local hot spot or, The Whale.  Style Collective is an online supportive community with influencer education that empowers women to find their purpose, be inclusive, and achieve success.  If you’ve read my posts in the past you know that I love a supportive community so joining Style Collective was a no brainer for me.

For brunch, I decided to wear my new striped shift dress from Stitch Fix along with a faux fur vest and peep toe wedge booties, also from Stitch Fix.  This faux vest has been a fall staple of mine for quite some time that I can’t even remember where & when I purchased it.  I did link some similar options below for you guys to shop!

How stylish is my Style Collective sister & good friend, Adrienne?  She has such an eye for thrifting and throwing together a perfectly polished look.  Be sure to check out her Instagram feed wanderlustandwardrobes I love how she styled this leopard dress!  How are you guys wearing leopard this season? I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of leopard pointed toe flats, but haven’t found a pair that I am in love with yet.  If you have any favorites send them my way!

Wine Women & Shoes

Last week I had the opportunity to attend Wine Women & Shoes – a “two-part signature event series (that) creates an enhanced atmosphere of giving where community-minded, philanthropic women (and a few good men) gather to sip, shop, savor, and support a worthy cause in an exciting, chic and innovative way.”

I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first time attending the event, but I can honestly say that I was blown away.  As I entered the ballroom at the Rivers Casino I was offered a glass of champagne from one of the “Shoe Guys” and encouraged to browse the numerous designer vendors including local clothing, jewelry and sweets boutiques.  Before being seated for dinner I enjoyed wine tasting & finger foods while mingling with other like-minded women.

During the seated dinner there was a fabulous fashion show showcasing clothing from Pure Barre and Serendipity Boutique followed by a live auction and handcrafted desserts.  The benefactor for this years’ event was the Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Foundation which is committed to providing financial support for research and educational endeavors in the field of emergency medicine.

For the event I decided to wear a little black dress, because, well… you can never go wrong with a LBD.   This petite wraparound flounce flare dress from Loft was originally $89.50 but I picked it up on sale for 30% off.  I paired it with statement heels and dangly earrings for a chic, romantic-inspired look that kept me comfortable & stylish.
