#OOTD – 1 Top, 4 Ways

I picked up this casual woven from Francesca’s on a whim at the beginning of the year.  It was an impulse buy I tucked into the closet and truthfully forgot about until today.  Surprise, surprise…I love this top!  I played around with how to wear it & was able to create four outfits with just this one piece.  Check them out below…

Casual meets comfort – I left the woven unbuttoned, layered a boyfriend tank underneath & threw on my straight leg jeans.  I added a slip-on flat & a touch of femininity with my flower burst necklace.

Clean lines – I transitioned this outfit to a more tailored look by knotting the hemline, cuffing the jeans & throwing on a high wedge sandal.

I then layered the woven overtop this Madewell shift dress.  A nice change from the usual cardigan or blazer.

Finally, it’s back to the basics.  My go-to finishing pieces are always a boyfriend blazer & my Tory Burch wedges, so why not pair them with the woven & jeans!

Stitch Fix Reveal

One of the best perks of being a stylist for Stitch Fix is styling my own Fixes!  For anyone who’s not familiar, Stitch Fix is a personal styling service that’s tailored to your taste, budget & lifestyle.  It’s perfect for busy women on the go, SAHM’s, women interested in trying new trends…basically any & all women.

Today I am so excited to be sharing one of my favorite Fixes thus far.  Even though I style myself, receiving my box is still like Christmas morning.  A colorful, bold patterned, on-trend Christmas prezie!

As with most of my clients this time of year, I wanted a Fix that was sure to get me in the mood for spring.  I have to say, I didn’t disappoint…

Skies are Blue – Leslee Shirt Dress.  This A-line silhouette is lightweight & perfect for spring.  The cinched waist is adjustable so this dress can technically be worn as a shift style if wanted.  I cannot wait to wear it while wine tasting this weekend.

THML – Jaye Cutout Shoulder Top.  What better way to show some skin without baring it all than with a cutout shoulder top.  This is one of my favorite trends; I just can’t get enough of it!  I paired this top with my Just Black Adorra Skinny’s from a previous Fix, but I think this would also look great with a distressed denim or boyfriend jean.

Market & Spruce – Paully Crochet Sleeve Knit Top.  While out shopping this past weekend I noticed lace sleeves everywhere I turned.  I was so excited to send myself this romantic take on a preppy style.  Who would’ve thought mixing these two styles would have such a classy end result.

MIA – Esie Laser-Cut Flats. Now that Stitch Fix is carrying shoes in all areas, I just had to send myself this fantastic pointed toe flat.  I am crushing on coral & this edgy take on a classic style has my heart melting…in love!

#OOTD – Split Back Blouse

Last night I had the opportunity to attend a banquet for my Mom’s Club.  I know what you’re thinking…Mom’s Club?  But, joining this group was one of the best decisions I made after having my son.  Not only do we have play dates, share advice & go on field trips, but we also have fun “mom only” get togethers.  Our banquet last night consisted of dinner & drinks at a local Italian restaurant.  The spread was fantastic, the wine was overpoured & the conversation was hilarious; I love these women!

I hate to say this out loud in fear of jinxing myself, but I think spring has finally sprung in Pittsburgh!  The sun was shining a warm 70 degrees yesterday making it the perfect day to wear my new split-back blouse.  I was waiting for warm weather to showcase this style since layering a jacket on top would defeat the purpose of the split-back.

I decided to pair this bold blouse with a dark wash flare denim and my Tory accessories.  I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I love mixing casual or trendy styles with classic pieces such as my Tory Burch wedges & handbag.  I added a bold lipstick that matched the pink hue of the blouse making this outfit that much more playful!
