Statement Clutch

I can’t believe it’s been a month since my last post!  I always start my day with the intention of putting something new up on the blog, but then life happens placing my energy & attention elsewhere.  I swear my New Years resolution is to make it a priority!

As a SAHM to an active toddler I don’t always get to accessorize an outfit the way I want.  I love long layered necklaces & small chic clutches but the practicality of them is slim to none.  With that being said, I have found my new favorite go-to statement clutch perfect for my busy mom on-the-go lifestyle.

This Street Level clutch from Stitch Fix was under $50, has two interior zip pockets and a detachable chain crossbody strap.  Despite its size, this bag is super spacious.  I am able to carry my phone, ID/credit cards, a small snack for little man, band aids, hand wipes and my go-to lipgloss.

Olive you too #OOTD

As the weather continues to cool here in Pittsburgh rich colors & textures have made a huge presence in my daily wardrobe.  From cozy on-trend knits to oversized ponchos & an array of olive green, my daily outfits have been screaming all things fall!  Below I’ve added some of my favorite easy to wear looks & layering pieces, all of which are under $100.

Pictured Below – Emory Park poncho cardigan from Stitch Fix ($48) and a long sleeve grey knit tee from Marshalls ($12.99).  A versatile look that transitioned from preschool drop-off to brunch & shopping with my mom

Resale Shop Experience

If you’ve been reading my posts lately you know how much I love a good deal.  From Marshalls, to TJ Maxx and Target…I always seem to find something fantastic I can add to my wardrobe.  Not only are their prices super affordable but these stores make it easy to bring a very strong-willed toddler along for the ride 🙂

The other day, thanks to my Mother in Law, I was able to do some shopping sans the little man and came across a local resale shop called Style Encore.  I had my reservations since the only resale shop I’ve been to is Plato’s Closet which is geared towards a younger audience.  I have to say, I was impressed!  Not only were the employees friendly and helpful but the store was organized and brightly lit.

I tried on a few things and ended up falling in love with a top by Bar III for only $14 which I believe is carried at Macy’s.  I wore it for a recent date night with my dark wash skinnies from Marshalls, black pumps from Forever 21 and burgundy satchel from Stitch Fix.
