Stitch Fix Reveal

One of the best perks of being a stylist for Stitch Fix is having the opportunity to style myself.  I haven’t sent myself a Fix in quite some time, but I just couldn’t resist after seeing all of the rich colors & textures for fall.  For those that aren’t familiar, Stitch Fix is a styling service for men & women that combines technology with the personal touch of seasoned style experts.  If you’re interested in learning more feel free to reach out to me or click on the link I provided & it will redirect you to our website.

For this Fix, I focused on all things fall…new dark wash denim, casual long sleeve knits & slip-on flats.  I was a little hesitant to send myself pull-on jeans but after hearing all of the positive feedback from my clients on the Liverpool brand I just had to try them.  And, I Love These Jeans!  Not only are they super slimming, but they’re extremely comfortable as well.  I plan on wearing them later this week for a girls night out so stay tuned on how they hold up throughout the night.

Fall is the perfect season for mixing textures & trends which is why I’m loving this Woven Poplin Knit by Noe Heights (pictured below).  The bowtie cuffs add a little romantic flair while the pinstripe pattern creates a classic look.  I paired this knit with my Just Black Skinnies (also from Stitch Fix) and the Report Footwear Stud Detail Flats for a casual-chic ensemble great for Sunday brunch.

Speaking of mixing textures, this Mixed Material Knit by Kaileigh has stolen my heart!  Not only is this top made in the USA, but it’s super soft & stylish too.  I can’t wait to wear it with a burgundy skinny jean & peep toe wedge.

My Favorite Summer Looks

As the days get shorter & the weather (slowly) starts to cool I wanted to share some of my favorite summer looks.  Each of these outfits came from…you guessed it, Marshalls!  I am so lucky to have two stores within close proximity to our house, both that are fully stocked with on-trend styles at great prices!

This off-the-shoulder romper was the perfect go-to style for celebrating the 4th of July!  All I needed to complete this look was my favorite wedges & a glass of sangria 😉

Another day, another blue off the shoulder outfit & a glass of red.  My brother & I were registered to run a 5K in June but the weather wasn’t in our favor so we opted for dinner & drinks instead.  This was also the perfect opportunity to wear this lightweight ruffled blouse & a top knot!

Last but not least is this cold shoulder floral blouse that I’ve managed to wear several times throughout the summer.  First, to my son’s birthday party with a pair of olive chino shorts, below for girls night out with my favorite dark wash skinnies & lastly with a light wash distressed boyfriend jean & canvas flats.

Maxxinista Life

I have recently become a full blown Maxxinista and am loving every penny saving moment! By definition, a Maxxinista is “one who finds unique and original designer items at discount prices” at the discount department store TJ Maxx.  The fact that I found an actual definition of this online is amazing!

I always seem to have such good luck shopping at TJ Maxx & Marshalls, not to mention Homegoods too!  It’s always a quick & easy shopping experience which makes dragging my toddler along with me not a complete nightmare.  Anyways, I am excited to share some of my most recent finds & how I styled them

Lemon & pineapple prints are everywhere this season, so when I found this Off The Shoulder Top for only $12.99 at TJ Maxx, I just had to get it!  I kept things casual by pairing it my high-rise distressed skinnies, cuffed at the ankle, strappy wedges & statement chandelier earrings.

Being that I’m only 5’0″ tall I rarely wear skirts, but with midi skirts being on-trend this year I just had to try one for myself.  I picked up this yellow perforated skirt & crochet cap sleeved knit from TJ Maxx for under $25.  Since the top was a little long I decided to knot the hem to one side & add a fun pop of contrasting color with this blue floral necklace.

As you can see, I saved the best for last!  I found this floral tie waist jumpsuit at Marshalls for under $20 (I can’t remember the exact price).  But, what a steal!  I paired this jumpsuit with my Tory Burch wedges and Chloe+Isabel statement necklace for a good friend’s wedding rehearsal.
