Today I am sharing some of my favorite outfits I’ve put together this spring.  From mixing patterns, to Stitch Fix favorites, this season has been full of fun outfits I cannot wait to repeat throughout the summer!

Mixing Patterns

Mixing patterns is easy when you don’t put too much thought into it.  The key is to mix prints of varying scales i.e. large florals & small polka dots, or in my case thin stripes & thick diamonds.  I like to stay within the same color family, but you can always combine two different prints that share a single color.

Unexpected pieces

The high finally hit 90 degrees the other day so the thought of wearing anything less than a dress was intolerable.  I didn’t have a lightweight maxi dress on hand so I turned this maxi skirt into a dress and I’m obsessed with the result!

Stitch Fix Favorites

I’ve received so many great pieces from Stitch Fix lately; styling myself has its perks!  For an indoor work event this week, I decided to keep things simple & chic with a little bohemian flair.  This was easy to do thanks to my new Renee C Tank & Kut from the Kloth Faux Leather Jacket.  #StitchFixLife

#OOTD – Casual Monday

The rain has finally stopped & the sun is shining bright.  The grass may still be wet but we’re taking advantage of this beautiful Monday!  Forget about the bubble mower, the swing set or even the cozy coupe car…our new obsession is walking up & down the steps.

#OOTD-Dressing My Mood

I love dressing my mood.  Whether it’s feminine florals, bohemian ikat prints or oversized boyfriend tees, dressing how I feel always makes me feel good.  I am able to live in the moment by looking how I feel.  This morning while making breakfast I decided I didn’t want to be overly comfortable today in my go-to leggings & slouchy tee.  I was feeling spunky, energetic & edgy.  So, I dressed the part…

Though dressing edgy doesn’t necessarily call for an all-black foundation, zippers & loud accessories, I was in the mood for it.

***Fitted black Hydraulic Denim cuffed at the ankle & paired with my Primadonna high-heeled ankle booties, a casual loose blouse & my zippered vest***
